Belgian-born artist ROA is a muralist and artist renowned for his giant black and white animals, painted with rollers and spray paint, can be found in every major cities of the world. ROA approaches his gallery work in a completely different way than the work he does on walls in the wild. Like a caged animal, he appropriates the space and makes it his own. For this exhibition, the artist’s first solo gallery show in Belgium, ROA has transformed the whole gallery into a giant installation of curiosity cabinets. Like Charles Darwin before him, this is an opportunity for this artist-naturalist to show the result of years of travelling on every continent, his research on the complex relationship between Man, Nature and Time. www.bodson-emelinckx.com MUSIC- SoomT & Disrupt "Dirty Money (Acid Crunk remix)" By An-Ten-Ae DOWNLOAD the track here- https://soundcloud.com/an-ten-nae/soomt-and-disrupt-dirty-money

To celebrate the launch of The SK8room, the first online platform to promote fine art skateboards around the world, we teamed up with notorious street artist ROA on 3 variations of limited edition skateboard decks that will be available from the 11th of March on our website. Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to Skateistan, a not-for-profit that teaches empowerment through skateboarding to children in impoverished countries like Afghanistan and Cambodia. As part of the ongoing project, ROA and The SK8room traveled to Cambodia to visit Skateistan, a global nonprofit that works with youths from various socioeconomic backgrounds to build trust and skills through skateboarding, in order to leave a lasting impression on the country through their combined passions of street art and skateboarding. White Walls Gallery- San Francisco April 9- May 7, 2011 Street artist ROA got his start by painting intriguing murals of animals in hidden places – underneath bridges and on walls that strayed from the beaten path. A darling of the underground street art scene, photos of his work regularly appear on Vandalog, Brooklyn Street Art, Wooster Collective, Unurth, and a fury of London newspapers and blogs running to his defense when a street piece he did in Hackney faced removal late last year. ROA is earnestly repopulating the cityscape with animals, as a way to have them re-enter the contemporary landscape that was once theirs. With a style all his own. www.whitewallssf.com www.wallspacesf.com

Warholian's own Colin M. Day has outdone himself once again, this time presenting us with street artist ROA. This film piece is literally a work of art in itself, and is by far the best piece yet on ROA. Mr. Day seems to be producing better and better work, and we are honored to be able to continue to present his films on Warholian. ROA on the other hand needs no introduction, he is by far the most prolific street artist we've met. The guy can paint faster than a speeding bullet, and it's truly amazing to watch him work in person. Enough with all the talk... enjoy! - Warholian For more on Colin M.
