Rio de Janeiro! - STREET ART SOUTH AMERICA 06

I was having a bit of a struggle my first few days in Rio. When I first arrived, my hostel would not answer the doorbell or phone, as I stood out in the pouring rain at 2am. I didn't have any contacts in Rio, and was just about to hop on a bus to São Paulo, when I met Alex at a corner store one crazy afternoon. We started talking and he was really interested in helping me. He showed me around town and helped me find a wall to paint, and even invited me out dancing with his friends and I learned how to Samba. Thanks so much Alex! Yes, the mural was painted over 2 days later. But I painted two more walls after that!
