Mavic Pro - Inside Red Hill abandoned skate arena. Street Art/Trashed 2017

A 1920's building on it's very last legs. Red Hill Abandoned Skate arena - Brisbane Australia. Originally built as a theatre in 1920, it was turned into one of Brisbane's best roller skating rink until an arsonist lit it up 2002. He was caught and charged. It is now due to be developed into new apartments. This building is heritage listed, some parts of the building must remain in the renovation. Before the magic of this place was lost forever I visited with some cameras, this is some preview footage of a larger video i am putting together. Mavic - Flew well, a very tight space, heaps of metal interference and obstacles everywhere. A lot of concentration needed. Quite a lot of drift, i attempted without VPS on but this made drift worse.

Artist Banksy opens hotel with the worst view in the world

The hotel with the worst view in the world. And also, the latest artwork by street artist Banksy. A chimpanzee bell-boy stands at the entrance to the Walled Off hotel in the Palestinian city of Bethlehem. Where just metres from its doors is the concrete wall Israel has built in parts of the occupied West Bank. (SOUNDBITE) (English) PROFESSOR AT ESSEX UNIVERSITY, GAVIN GRINDON, SAYING: "Banksy chose the location for the hotel, and developed the whole hotel as a concept, he chose to put it next to the wall. Perhaps not for the great views but for other reasons that are more artistic." Built in secrecy over the last 14 months, every room overlooks the barrier - which he's used as a canvas before. Styled to resemble a so called "English gentleman's club from colonial times", with a slight twist to the decor. Its bedroom walls and hallways decorated with the mysterious artist's stencil grafitti work. One shows an Israeli soldier and masked Palestinian youth having a pillow fight. The dining room has cherubs hanging from the ceiling wearing oxygen masks. It's Banksy's biggest project since his 2015 "Dismaland" at the English seaside, where similiar themes - especially around refugees - ran through the work. But the Walled Off hotel also has many firsts. We continue to explore the worldwide street art scene. This time I use a few spare hours I got in Valencia, to discover the Barrio El Carmen, in the historical centre of the city. First of all, I have to recognise that the quantity and the quality of graffiti and street art is astonishing. Secondly, I must realise that I really don't know anyone of the street artists that lives and operates here. However, thanks to a smartphone, after a few hours, I start becoming familiar with Blu, Erica Il Cane, David De Limon, Deih and Felipe Pantone. Street Art Malaga (Spain) documentary

The street art district in Malaga is squeezed between the historical center and the port. Over recent years, thanks to an organised effort, many international artists have been asked to come here and paint, in an effort to revitalise the neighbourhood. Prime artist like Shepard Fairey, D*Face, ROA and Ben Eine coloured some walls. Local artists also play a role here, lead by Dadi Dreucol (a Malagueno) and Felipe Pantone (an Argentinean artist who lives in Valencia). Il progetto ''Lake Old Town'' ha coinvolto ragazzi di varie nazionalità ( Giappone, Messico, Francia, Turchia, ecc...) per la riqualificazione del centro storico in stato di semi abbandono, interagendo con la comunità locale tra lavori manuali, cucina, arte, musica, immersi nel paesaggio mistico della Valle di Comino.

We literally conquered Munich during the last month! Everything began with the opening of the photographic Exhibition “Neptune’s Gladiators” by Paolo Martinello. Second chapter of the project “Behind Excellence”. And so from the Munich Airport we moved to a completely different location: a wall of the Meininger Hotel in Munich. Here, on this wall, Agostino Iacurci gave life to “Ficus Indica”, a gift to the city of Munich, which reminds of his homeland: Apulia. Outstanding projects, with outstanding partner as @PugliaPromozione (which is also supporting the movement #WeAreCreativeInPuglia for which Iacurci has realized this piece of artwork) and @TheTripMagazine, which all contributed to the realization of this project.

Grazie a diverse collette organizzate dagli artisti e dagli abitanti, si sono riusciti a comprare i materiali per dipingere molti muri abbandonati, dando vita ad un'esperimento di museo a cielo aperto. Gli abitanti sono entusiasti perchè partecipano attivamente, mentre il collettivo di artisti cerca fondi dal municipio per portare avanti queste iniziative in modo stabile, ovvero organizzare un festival di street art che richiami artisti italiani e internazionali ogni anno.
