ID: 3388864 These incredible portraits are made by creating meticulous cracks on glass using a hammer. Simon Berger, 44, makes stunning portraits on his unusual canvas by smashing the material. While at first the window or glass appear to have been vandalised, the portraits become clearer to the eyes from a distance. The artist, of Bern, Switzerland, creates dimensions using light and dark sections to pop the portraits. He then creates the shadow using hammer on laminated safety glass that holds together when shattered making it durable and minimise the chance of shattering whole piece. **Please contact licensing@catersnews.com for media / licensing / broadcast usage** SUBMIT A VIDEO: https://www.catersnews.com/submit-content/ Connect with Caters: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Caters_News Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CatersTV Website: https://www.catersnews.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caters_news/ Company Information: Caters Clips is owned and operated by Caters News Agency Ltd, an international multimedia content provider.
